Monthy Interest

money-4-nothing
I'm looking for a savings account which offers a good rate of interest, who pay interest monthly, offers a cash card and doesn't require a HUGH opening balance.
I signed up with Tesco Instant Savings, but didn't read the small print and the interest they advertise is only on savings above £50,000. So 4.60% AER is my current rate.
So I need:
Monthly Interest
Cash Card with pin
Minimal of £100 opening
Am I asking too much by limiting myself to Monthly Interest because I'm struggling to find any high street bank who offers this.

YBS internet saver has all the above. Pays 5.95% interest and only requires a balance of £1:

I would also recommend the YBS Internet Saver account. The LINK card allows you to withdraw up to £250 per day from over 30,000 cash machines around the country. They offer both a monthly and annual interest option, both paying 5.95% AER.Please call me 'Kazza'.0

why does monthly interest matter... its best to get the highest aer rate and simply withdraw want you need.... it all works out the same.0

I don't think that the HSBC account would be appropriate for the money-for-nothing. He/she has asked for an account with a cash card so that leads me to believe that he/she intends to make withdrawals. The HSBC Online Saver is not suitable for that reason, as no interest is paid on the full balance in any calendar month in which a withdrawal is made. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
I think Abbey esaver gives 6.0% at the moment + card + monthly int+minimum £1 balance.Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!
