What to do with £200K?
My wife is soon to inherit £200K.:j We have no mortgage or other debts. We pay tax at 40%. Plan to retire in the next 3 - 5 years. We will put as much into ISAs as possible. What would you do with the rest for reasonable growth? Also what to do in the short term - she may get the money on Monday. TIA.

£250k to invest, T&C's confusing ; please help
Basically we wish to invest £250k in a Bank or BS. We need complete safety as we're a pair of wrinklies. I've read all the best Bank/BS to investment with etc, on the MSE site. But I'm very confused. Some you're meant to save so much a month to get the higher interest, some you can't get at the money quickly etc etc..…

What to do with 25k? Is the wife right?
Hi all, My wife and I have 25k to invest. She wants to put 5k in bonds as we won £50 from £100 pounds worth and then save the rest in ISAs nad savings a/cs.
