Halifax Sharebuilder Account

Can you buy units as well as individual shares with this account, and if so is it any cheaper than buying them through say H-L?

Thanks

I rather doubt it's cheaper than H-L (assuming you can even buy fund units there), simply because H-L discount almost all of the entry costs of the funds they allow access to right down to zero percent, then give you back some of the trail commission to offset the annual management charge too.
