I have £10,000 which I want to put in an account to recieve maximum interest. I'm happy to not touch it for a year (maybe longer, but that's all i can definitely commit to). Please help me - I am a financial novice! Thank you

10 year investment plan fails to achieve target
I took out an investment plan 10 years ago to supplement my endowment. However it has failed by a long way to achieve target. Is there anything I can do about this? Are these treated the same as endowment policies? Hopeful for any advice on this

Liverpool Victoria Mutual Invstment Bond MVA News
I rang LV today to check on the value of my bond and the current MVA which is now down to 10.76% (from 15.5% in November 2005), and I was told they are looking to remove the MVA as soon as possible. Also, to avoid the dreaded 0870 number, ring them on 01202 292333.
