About £1500 - £2000 generally......enough to replace the boiler or the car. Heaven help me if they both go at the same time!:snow_grin"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow........":snow_grin0

I have this plus a bit on top. I should really do something with it rather than having sitting in an instant access account though.ffacoffipawb wrote:A year's take home pay.0 -
Yes, but if you've used up all your ISA allowance, and you don't really trust yourself with dabbling in the stock exchange, what other options do you have other than putting your money in the highest-earning savings account you can find? I have two year's salary in various savings accounts and would love to find something more 'interesting' for at least some of it, but what is there?0

Mortgage when started: £232,000
Current mortgage Sept 2024: £232,000
Mortgage free day: Sept 2029
Saving: £12k 20250 -
Done that - Lloyds; only one official 'regular saver' since they mostly seem to want you to open a current account with them and it's all too much hassle.0
