Done that - Lloyds; only one official 'regular saver' since they mostly seem to want you to open a current account with them and it's all too much hassle.

well someone on the regular savers board has just shown me these..no current account needed and can be fed from your own bank

Will pursue them further but, from looking at their websites very quickly, both ask you to go into your local branch to open the accounts - Principality in Wales and Stroud and Swindon vaguely south-west-ish. Bit tricky.

Hi. Can I ask which telephone number you used when you called Stroud? It's just there is a thread on this regular saver (many pages down) where MSE's have complained that Stroud insisted that they visit a branch to open the account.

The Principality BS accept postal applications for their regular saver. They also permit each customer to open 2 of them at 6.00% (2x £500).
    Please call me 'Kazza'.

Ahh! maybe I have it wrong and called Principality then. Will check.

Yes it was principality but they also said that the second account is only for when your term has ended on your reg saver for your funds to be paid into you can feed it from any bank acct.

Have just called Stroud and yes you have to visit a branch which is diffifcult but you can feed from any current account from 3rd party bank also.
