Is there a time limit on reclaiming bank charges? And do credit card charges count the same i.e. so much for a letter or is that different?

Post IVA and reclaiming bank/CC charges
I completed my IVA just over 12m ago but read somewhere on this site that somebody is reclaiming old charges. Is it possible for me to go back to my old creditors and reclaim any charges they put on me even though I've done a full and final on my IVA and satisfied debts?

The banks presumably think it's fair that they can charge us when we screw up and allow our account to go negative.
