Premier Man
Ordered a suit from Premier Man, who specialise in plus size clothing - the suit is needed for a function 1st October. I placed the order 1st September as the catalogue said the item would come direct from the manufacturers and take up to 10 days. I rang them as it still hasn't arrived and they said it will be with me by…

Morrisons Miles - small but annoying rant
Normally fill up at the pay at the pump because [STRIKE]I am a lazy cow[/STRIKE] the queues in the kiosk are usually long. Anyway, I've had two Miles points cards and neither of them have worked right in the card slot at the pump. On the odd occasion, they go through, but more often than not, they ask you to put the card…

Someone else signed for my item from Gap :(
Yodel delivered my GAP jeans to someone else in my stair, they didn't leave a note or anything in my door. I went down to the depot to collect another parcel, and asked if the jeans were there too, they told me that someone signed for them. I told them I'd leave a note in my stair (I live in a flat). I left it 12 days ago…

I dont know if this is the right place to post, but here goes... Callcredit, who carry out credit checks, are in the process of setting up an 'new' company - called Noddle. They say that the purpose of Noddle is to provide FREE Credit Checks, PERMANENTLY. They say it is going through, or is now through its Beta stage -…

tesco green points
I live in Wales and from the end of October shops have to charge 5p per bag (small or large, paper or plastic). I have no objection to this, but while in Tescos this morning there was a notice stating that because of the charge, Tescos will no longer be giving green points for using your own bags, to shoppers in Wales.

Disappointing customer service from tReds
I've had my first ever issue with tReds and found their customer service to be a bit lacking... Basically I bought some shoes from them (size 6) and received a size 8. Sure enough when I tried them on they were obviously two sizes too big so no good to me. The receipt enclosed stated size 6 so I figured I'd have no problem…

Marks and Spencer Furniture - poor service
Just a little help for anyone thinking of buying Marks and Spencer Furniture, delivery is completely at their convenience and it might take you months to get it. M&S furniture has 'up to' 3 weeks delivery time. In this case 'up to' means exactly. It has taken 3 weeks each time I have ordered. This time I received a phone…

The Inheritance Scam
We've all got them in our inbox: "Dear John. A person has died and left $x millions in my charge. If you act as his beneficiary you can have the money - less my bit". Or words to that effect. I got one recently and, for a bit of personal entertainment, I decided to string them along for a bit - up to, but not including,…

Yahoo mail and facebook
It's been upgraded! Well, I say upgraded loosely. If that means taking an age to load mails, then another age to open them, if they have an attachment, well go off and make a brew before it's scanned for viruses and such like! It wasn't broke before so why fix it! Same goes for the new facebook! I wasn't a…

Potential Scam - Credit Cards
The other day whilst out shopping i received a telephone call supposedly from my bank saying i was now eligible for a credit card - i was immediately suspicious because 1) i had never approached my bank regarding a credit card, 2) my student bank account was sitting at minus £1000 for 4 months until i got my student…

Currys - praise for a change
I know it's not something that happens very often but I thought I should offer praise to Currys (and hope I'm not jumping the gun!). I decided yesterday to buy a new electric razor. I did a bit of research and settled on a Remington F7790. Places such as Boots and Argos were selling it reduced from £129.99 to £64.99,…

My dentist debacle

new "charity": Joy to the World Foundation
I am wondering why anyone would start a new charity when its goals overlap so much with existing charities. I'm afraid I'm suspicious immediately. Joy to the World Foundation (1139832), collecting outside my local Sainsburys today for "starving children in East Africa".
