Premier Man

Ordered a suit from Premier Man, who specialise in plus size clothing - the suit is needed for a function 1st October.
I placed the order 1st September as the catalogue said the item would come direct from the manufacturers and take up to 10 days.
I rang them as it still hasn't arrived and they said it will be with me by end of October!! When I protested that the catalogue specified up to 10 days they just asked if I wanted to cancel!!!
So now I've got the hassle of trying to find something else before Saturday. This completely puts me off bothering with Premier Man as it's not the first time it's happened. I once got an order from them several months after I'd ordered...they offered me 10% off next order as a gesture of goodwill...!

I have some even worse news for you.
Premier Man is overpriced and the rubbish suits they sell on there are mainly polyester.
You could make a better one out of a bin bag.
Also, they charge a variety of prices for the same item depending on the size...? That is a novel approach.0 -
I had this problem with Premier Man when i ordered my husband a winter coat in Sept last yr said was in stock and would be with me within 14 days! December it was still not with me and in the end i cancelled and bought from elsewhere!
Also whenever i want to order anything it never seems to be in stock. I am paying mine off its a waste.
Go to High and Mighty or Jacamo they do nice clothes!0 -
Err... Jacamo = Premier Man!

They also charge 39.9 % APR - which is not shown on the front page of the web site.
To contact them it 10p per min on an 0871 number
They fail to credit when I returned an item.
They failed to remove me from the mailing list and when I asked to speak to a supervisor (because I wanted to complaint about the harassment) I was told I could not !
I have purchased cloths for years from Orvis and never had a single problem.
I would suggest you do not buy from Premier Man / J D Williams / N Brown / Sanders and Kay or what ever else they call themselves

After 12 months of struggling to log in to the premier man site with the same email address they SUCCESSFULLY use to contact me with constant promos on, and being told by their system the address was incorrect, in the last 2 or 3 months I have sent two obviously frustrated emails to them, containing starred out letters in place of potential swear words, capitals, and sarcasm which accurately betrayed my feelings since in the last 12 months I have been charged twice for late payment - I don't use the installments, I simply pay off the whole amount each month - and find myself, as of today owed £65 by the company because all too often, unable to access my account and staying away from home for work reasons, I have had to simply GUESS what to pay!!
After expressing my disgust at this treatment for such a protracted period of time, right after another 15 minute unsuccessful multi-attempt to access my account, they sent me a reply REFUSING to deal with the matter until I resubmitted my email in a better mannered and non offensive form! The email contained ONLY two entries which could be considered such:- ******g, and, the term "sick to death of your !!!!!! system...", which I have subsequently emailed and spoken via phone with them about, only for them to come back a day later still insisting it is offensive on my part, and being told by me that to call me offensive for what their own mind makes of the stars is in actuality judging me by the readers own low standards, and that anyone in 2013 not 1913 that takes offence at the term !!!!!! when not directed AT THEM is a sad and overly touchy person who is going to spend a GREAT deal of their life upset!!
I have told them, via Ashley the manager to whom I spoke on the phone, to send me my £65 and cancel my account immediately as they obviously do not need regular spending, reliable paying customers!!
Anyone know an other GOOD large size suppliers with RELIABLE and PROPERLY WORKING online logging on?0 -

It's no good being abusive to them.
That never solves any problems...all you do is show yourself up.
It's surely not difficult to express yourself in a dignified and polite manner.0 -

Log in with your account number if your email address doesn't work. That's what I do. It's 1 letter followed by 7 numbers and appears on every communication I receive e.g orders and statements.
It's not difficult0 -
If theres one near you, you might want to try visiting Slaters as they tend to carry most sizes (including plus sizes) and make adjustments (though they do charge if they're needed urgently) - They also do shoes and other bits you might need, like belts and ties, etc.Cheltenham Dude
