Currys - praise for a change

I know it's not something that happens very often but I thought I should offer praise to Currys (and hope I'm not jumping the gun!).

I decided yesterday to buy a new electric razor. I did a bit of research and settled on a Remington F7790. Places such as Boots and Argos were selling it reduced from £129.99 to £64.99, pretty good deal you might think. But when I looked a bit harder I found that Currys had it for £29.99, less than a quarter of the original price. So I ordered one, free standard delivery, got several emails updating me on progress of the order through the day culminating in one less than 12 hours after placing the order to say it had been despatched with Royal Mail.

I reckon that's pretty good service, assuming it turns up, and deserves some praise.

To be completely fair I've noticed today that Comet have it for the same price, although it's only Collect from store and as the nearest one is 50 miles away that wouldn't be a very moneysaving option.

I've always like Currys, never had a problem with them, brought many goods over the years and always had friendly customer service.

£59.99 now (DS1 has asked for electric razor for Christmas, I thought £29.99 was fantastic price!)
