Re: Citybeds.co.uk - What a rip-off!!!
I bought two budget beds from citybeds.co.uk a few months ago back in April 2008 - a single and a double. Before I actually paid for the items I asked Paul who runs citybeds if the small double bed was sturdy enough and would accommodate two people; I told him it was for my tenants. He assured me that despite the bed being…

Consumer Question re Barratts
I ordered two items on line. Delivery should have been within 7 working days. It went over this by a couple of days, so I emailed the company (Would not answer the 'phone). I saw an offer in a TV mag last year, for the complete works of Roald Dahl for £4.99 so I took it up, it turns out it was with a book club called Books for Children, one of these clubs where you have to purchase 4 books in your first year of membership. I got an unsolicited call one day from Books for Children's collecters…

Floor-fitter won't return to fix his shoddy work
He fit a laminate floor a few months ago in our hallway, kitchen diner and lounge which has creaked because he didn't leave a big enough gap. He came back and rectified the hallway but I think he realised the size of the job and has been very elusive since. On two occasions when he said he was coming he didn't show up and…
