Provident Loans!!

I'm so bloody angry!! I signed up for a provy loan (I know, I know) a couple of months back and I had to ask for a new agent right at the start because the guy kept not showing up.
So I got this woman, and it was fine for a while, then she went on holiday and said her friend would be coming instead, he never appeared so I sat in each sunday for no reason, but still I never said nothing. She came back, it was fine except she was getting later and later when she showed up, so I got angry but never said anything. Then she's off on holiday again and I waited in the first sunday with no show from the guy, so went out the next week, when he decided to show up, I had a card through the door.
Again, she came back and it's been fine except she can show up any time between 10 and 5 and when it's a nice day the last thing you want is to wait in! But I have been, until today. I left the house at around 2.15pm today to go to tesco, she came in this time and now I'm getting texts saying 'you could have told me, ill be speaking to my boss, whatever, etc etc etc'.
I'm sorry, but what the hell! The one single time when I haven't been in for her (other than when she was on holiday) and she's spitting the dummy out! I'm mad
Edit: She always phones before she comes along to mine to get the money too, that's why I didn't think I'd have to tell her, but today she didn't

Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

Tell her to get a life, and tell her boss that she always keeps you waiting in all day.
(I'd also be tempted to also say to her boss that this isn't the USSR, it's the UK - we shouldn't have to be held hostage to these agents, delivery types and tradespeople making us wait in our homes for hours on end for them.)0 -
I'm wondering if there'd be any chance of saying to them that after this I don't want people coming to my door and getting the cheek from them. I could send them a cheque every week... not sure if they'd let me do that.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0

Just tell her that you will be home on X day at X time and if this is not convinient for her, that you will pay her double the week after (or whenever she decides to turn up). Let her know if she is running late or will be early, then you would appreciate a quick call or text so that she doesn't waste her time.
Make sure you keep the money though and don't spend it just because they haven't showed

A good example of how these lenders are out and out cowboys.

It just makes me so angry that she's being like that after ONE day of me not being in yet I sit around every week for her to be late or not show up.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0

If she's late every week, ask her why - if you don't get a decent answer, see if you can have a quick word with her manager.0

Not all agents are dreggs.Just because one acts as an a**hole, please don't tar us all with the same brush.THE_LONE_RANGER wrote: »companies like these and there employees are just dreggs
I am an agent but only for one more week as I am fed up with the lousy payment system(based on how much we collect and who pays us) and am now lucky enough to be able to survive without the extra income that I get as an agent.
I agree that there are some agents out there who are dreggs but a lot of us are doing it because we need extra money and certainly not for love of the job.
Drea, do you have the cards and texts from the agent?
If you have anything, take it into the office and ask to see the office manager and tell him about the agent and show him anything you have from your agent.
Provident do accept cheques, at least they do down here.
I don't blame you for not wanting anyone to call round after the way you've been treated.0 -

not only are you paying sky high interest, 50% of your weekend is spent waiting for the asiant to turn up.0
