Has someone changed the law?
In one of my former favourite pubs (now with new management who are, frankly, abysmal) the other day and asked for a pint of beer. The glass used was dirty (brim full of lipstick) so I asked for a clean glass. On handing the dirty glass back, I noticed that there was no crown stamp (or the new CE mark for that matter).…

Red Bull at Tescos... .
Last week a can of Red Bull cost me 88p, today it was 99p, and in the past it's been as high as £1 something. None of these are special offers; it just seems that they increase the price as and when they want: by 10% in the past week. Is this normal...? Are there problems in the supply of Red Bull?!

This man came up to me in M&S asking if I wanted a Morecard, I said 'no thank you' but he lingered around me whilst I was shopping. I said, please go away. I ask because I've placed an order for an item that's supposed to arrive in two weeks, from Amazon themselves, but the price has come down four quid. I paid for it with vouchers that I got for free, but I'm wondering if, if anyone's emailed them about a similar situation, if they adjust their own prices when they come…

Companies Selling Green-Belt Land
This is a warning in case you see adverts from companies that are selling plots of land in the countryside. They "promise" that it will increase in value once it's granted planning permission for house building. This is unlikely to happen. What tracts of the green-belt that could be built on have already been earmarked for…
