Sky - Grrr.
Grrr I really need to vent  (so sorry if it gets a bit long). Despite the fact that I only signed up for Sky 2 weeks ago, I am already disappointed. When I signed up I chose the earliest possible instillation date (today - 28/03/05). I have taken the day off work to wait in as there was no opportunity to pick the time…

Books for children
Hi, Just thought I'd have a moan about Books for Children. I responded to one of there leaflets offering a lovely Peter Rabbit book collection for £9.99; at that price if you joined the books club. I did so and got them with another set of books that I didn't order or know that they would be enclosed with my order. Ok, I…

Sales calls clogging up my answering machine
I've recently started getting long, long, looooong pre-recorded sales messages left on my answering machine. One was to do with selling an endowment (how'd they know I've got an endowment?!?) and another one to do with some sort of phone call service if you're a BT customer (which I am, wonder if they knew...). It's rather…

Mothercare Advice Please
Hi all, my sister bought a pram from mothercare just under a year ago. The pram hood has snapped and just recently (with child in it) the pram collapsed whilst out for a walk. ebuyer.com
I have bought a few things off the net and generally been pleased with the service, but I recently used ebuyer.com after a reccomendation from a friend. The first problem I had was accessing the website, it was as slow as a wet week, at first I thought it might have been my computer, but after trying a different com[uter…

tescos pay at the pump
I always use pay at the pump. I have two gripes 1...At a rough guess every 4th or 5th time the printer fails to give me a receipt so i end up having to go in and queue for a receipt (the very reason why i use p at p in the first place). The till operator then has to go out the back to get the details and give me a hand…

I've received three emails from Chase Bank on Saturday asking about my “account”. The name rings a bell somewhere and while I'm 99% sure it’s a scam I just wanted to check. This is a copy of the second email (The first was aking me to log in and the third is the same as this one): Your online credit card account has…

Oystercard - beware!
I have a pre-pay Oystercard, and have it set up to top up automatically once the balance falls below £5. This normally works fine, and saves me a lot of time which would be spent queuing. Yesterday I entered at my normal (Zone 5) station and the balance showed as just over £5. As I was travelling to Zone 1, I assumed the…

Since then, I have sent 2 other e-mails chasing them for a…

Is sending an Invoice a legal requirement?
I deposit some money into my Overture PPC account and before I turned on the account and started 'spending' the money I asked for an Invoice. They have told me that they will not supply one for 6 weeks! Are they allowed to 'not' send me an invoice for this period of time?
