Just when it seemed things were sorted the bills have…

18185/1899/18866 probs calling USA
I've been using 18185/1899/18866 to call USA landlines and cellphones for several years from 3 registered UK phones. For about a month I have been unable to call landlines in the AT&T area of Texas. The "this call is 1/2 p minute" announcement is much delayed and the line then becomes unobtainable. Calls to Florida…

Greenbee phone line installation - £115 for nothing
Hi, I recently moved into a rented flat - not newly built, previously occupied and with a phone socket. I had enquired about the existence of the socket when being shown around the place, and was shown it. 03-prefix numbers - AOL refuse to believe these are inclusive
We have AOL Talk Unlimited, which gives inclusive calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers 24 hours a day. I've contacted OfCOM to verify 03 calls are included in our call package (details here) & quoted AOL's own website (here) but that only led to this response: Any ideas on what to say/do next? It would be great to get this…

Home phone override no. for elderly parents
Can anyone recommend a company they can use without calling a specific number each time they dial - ie have the prefix no. stored in front of their regular numbers. They don't have broadband, so that narrows the choices down. At the moment they are using something 1363? - but I'm sure they could get cheaper. Most of their…
