BT line broken cable

The bt line cable has been removed during the decorating of my front room, I didn't used it as I am with Virgin.
I am thinking of leaving Virgin and need to reconnect the line, the socket is in its place and need the cable reconnected.
Anyone knows the cost for that ?

Do it yourself.

What sort of box do you have?

Is the original cable still there and how long is it?

Would it reach to the box or another box location.

Take a picture and show us what you have.

To get BT to do it will not be cheap.

I still have a bit of cable coming out of the socket but don't know where is the box it is mean to be connected to...

the internal installation would be done as part of the price you will pay to get the line reconnected i think
