What if....
...someone [from the MLM community, I suspect] is sending repeated unsolicited emails around, giving people 0845 and 0870 numbers to call into [for one hour] and saying the cost is 1p per minute? Is there somebody I can report them to?

Halifax phone number Anyone know the cheap or free one?
I've looked on saynoto0870 site but the alternative numbers for Halifax on there when I ring they give me the reg contact number to call thats on ther site. They say I've come through to a different place and just ring the 203040 one so that saynoto0870 is out of date. Does anyone know the number to call I have to make an…

Telewest - deals for existing customers?
We currently have our home phone (with free evening and weekend calls), essential digital tv package and 1mb broadband with telewest, who we've been with for just over a year. We are paying £52pm for this and I just wondered if anyone had any experience of renegotiating with them for a better deal, as their deals for new…

BT offer free sticker. To deter callers to your residence.
I have just got my BT phone bill. They are giving away free stickers to "Stop unwanted, intrusive and irritating callers knocking at your door/ringing your bell." Presumably the idea is to deter salespeople trying to get you to move you phone requirements elsewhere.Or am i being cynical. :D To get a sticker call 0800 169…

1899 - is there a maximum call length
Rather than travelling to London to join a meeting I thought I would dial in, which would mean about 6 hours on the phone. I am just concerned that there might be a maximum call duration for 1899 ie 0p per minute for the first hour or something like that. Does anybody know please.

Talk not Talk Talk.
If you are approached by these people who are based in Bournemouth and who use the Brand Name TALK bear in mind they are nothing to do with CPW Talk Talk, and looking at their tariffs their a lot of cheaper alternatives around.they charge a admin fee of £1 a month to belong,a 3p a call routing charge and Customer Services…

BT basic dial tone phone rental
I get charged £ 2.68 on my BT quarterly phone rental for a basic BT dial tone that I no longer have, so how do I get this charge removed from the bill. Anyone else had this problem and resolved it? PS I have an old phone, not the original BT phone I can hand back if that is what you have to do.

Problem registering with 18899
Since I read the article about 1899 being cheaper than 18866 for Moble calls I have tried to register with 1899 numerous times, but each time I get a message saying that they are oversubscribed, try again in six weeks. I have never been able to register. Have others had the same problem? Or is there a good time of the day…

Free international phone calls (VOIP to landline)
Hope this is the right place. VoipBuster are offering free PC to landline calls to a variety of countries including the UK, USA, Australia, and loads of others. Calls to mobiles in the US are also stupidly cheap, at 1 euro per minute. Skype may start to rot now. I started using it tonight, and it works well, esp with the 7…

Just want to clarify....
A question to do with justdialsaver. On the landline to mobile calls I notice it says: " Mobile calls are capped at 20p for 20 minutes at evenings and 15p for 20 minutes during the weekend." By this does it mean if say I dial a mobile number and I am on for more than a minute, they will automatically charge me 20p for…

Payphone Q's
Just some rather sad and old fashioned ideas I had at work... When you stuff in the 30p to get a call box working, I found I could stay calling a land line for about 15 mins. Howlong will it keep going for to a mobile? I mean on my phone cross network 30p would last all of 50 seconds! And, what happens if your in a call…
