Bozita wet cat food
Does anyone know any shops in the UK that stock this? I can find it online - prices are OK if buying loads and you're able to get free delivery (Zoo+ = £6.99 for 6 and cheaper if you buy more / or Seapets are 99p each). It would be fine if I knew they'd eat it as I'd buy a load at a time but I really need a couple to try…

Quality Tinned Dog Food at a reasonable price?
Good Evening all you lovely dog owners - we have two Border Collies, one aged 2.5 and one at 18 weeks old. We currently feed them Autarky (adult and puppy) but they also like 'wet food' with it. We feed them Nature Diet at the moment but that is costing us over £2.50 per day in wet food alone  Can anyone recommend a…

lazy selfish people !!!!!!!
I am so angry at the people who have cats and fail to get them neutered. Why have an animal at all if you are not going to ensure that they won't roam and leave loads of unwanted kittens in their wake. I have 2 cats and have been feeding a feral cat for 8 years. Now i find that i am feeding another stray. He is a…

Pesky fleas!!!
I have 3 cats and I'm being eaten alive by fleas!!!! They must be drawn to me because no-one else seems to be affected!!!! I gave the cats spot-on and have sprayed carpets with flea spray and hoovered a lot, but I'm still getting bitten! I take a garlic capsule everyday as apparently that is meant to help just wondered if…

Minding hamsters - dogs on red alert!!!
I'm looking after my grandsons' two hamsters while they're on holiday and my two dogs are beside themselves. Hamsters are in big cages well out of dogs' reach, but when they start their exercises on the wheel the dogs go crazy, panting, drooling, barking, pacing...this is going to be a loooong two weeks:eek:

What to do if your dog is attacked?
Does anyone actually know if the advice I received from the police last year is an acceptable procedure or just one rogue policemen's opinion? Last year a lurcher pounced on my lab/springer cross and bit his neck and would not let go, it happened very fast but within 3 seconds I was pulling the lurchers mouth open and got…

My boy hasn't come back
My little man Jasper (cat) hasn't been seen since last night :( I left food out for him this morning before I went to work and the food was still there untouched when I got home. I am getting worried now as it's so unlike him. He is fine with the cat flap and can come in and out. I would know if he'd been in because all…

Worried about my pensioner ;0(
Well took my kitty to the vets today. The vet didn't seem overly concerned about her teeth; however, when examining her, he noticed she had pain in the bladder area. He is unsure what the problem is & has given her to antibiotic injections just incase it's an infection. He thinks if it's not an infection, then she may have…

Do you trim your cats claws?
As I've said before on these forums (and I bet some of you are sick of hearing it by now lol!), I am due to get two pedigree Bengal kittens in August. :D :D (Video if you want to see the gorgeous little pair - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whC1Pt_DAwY; but apologies in advance that I am no Steven Spielberg ) My…

Aggressive kitten
I'm not in the habit of 'expecting' any particular behaviour from cats or getting annoyed about what is natural kitten behaviour but I would like to know what's considered a 'normal' level of aggression from a (male) kitten aged about 14 weeks. Our kitty is not into petting at all. He will let us stroke him when he's…

Cat Litter Tray / Box
Hi, We need to replace our cat litter box as a sensible person in our house put something heavy on top of it and cracked it  So I was wondering if anyone out there could recommend a decent one? We currently have an enclosed one as our cat seems to prefer that to an open tray on the floor - can't think why :D We have…

Cat Abscesses
OK, so the stoopidest cat in the world lives at Tightfisted Towers. He gets away with his dimness because he is one of the sweetest cats you could hope to meet. Since moving from a top floor flat to a house, he has discovered at the age of 13, that the great outdoors is rather fun. Except for the big boy cats. Of course,…

Unusual Pets?
Who on here keeps unusual pets, if so what are they? I keep snakes :) And yes, they are mine, as hubby is scared of them :o :o:D My newest addition being this beautiful baby Rainbow Boa. He's all coiled as he was underneath his cave, until I lifted it to take a photo. :)

cat fleas
has anyone tried using "flea zappers" apparently it is like a comb which supposedly kills fleas with a mild electric current(I know it sounds like some sort of torture) but I am looking at alternative treatments to the Frontline pippettes. It is such a battle to divide the fur and get the fluid on to a patch that they cant…

When is a puppy no longer a puppy?
Or to put it another way, at what age can a dog start eating adult food without all the extras that a puppy needs? :)

Neighbours cat is killing all the garden birds
Hi everyone .. I have a someones cat who lives nearby coming into my garden regularly and killing the garden birds ... Its latest kill was an adorable Blackbird who had lived in my garden for 2 years.
