Airtight food storage containers
Realise this is probably duplicated elsewhere... but am looking for a large storage bin which will hopefully be enough for either one or two 15k bags. Anyone have one of these? I can't tell from the pictures or descriptions if it's airtight, it looks like it's got a big hole in the top lol. Alternatively, are these any…

What are you doing to keep your small indoor pets warm?
Hi guys, I was just wondering what everyone's doing to keep their small indoor critters warm. My rats Penny, Holly and Ivy are nice and toasty thanks to having the inside of two massive pillows as their bedding :D I've also been giving them warm porridge and vegetables, and the odd warm bottle of tea, and they're getting…

My no-sew home-made dog coats
Hi Just thought I'd post this in case it helps anyone else. Last night I cut up an old dog blanket and made a coat for each of my dogs. I pinned the front of the coat with a bulldog clip, and used a strip of the blanket to tie around their middles. I hope that makes sense! It's not very stable for long walks but for our…

vet prescriptions
I took my new puppy along to the the vet last week for her first check up and vaccination. It went fine and she is happy and healthy but it's been a while since I've dealt with a vet and I was a little flummoxed by her pitch when discussing certain things. She was due to be wormed again last week so I thought I would…

Scammers on Gumtree
Why do people still fall for these scams? I have read messages on there warning people of the scammers because they have lost money sending it to them to have the dog shipped to their address, I mean come on are people really that thick? If people were not so gulible then you wouldn't get these scam adverts.

Since I had Zara, I always use one collar on her and now can not find it anywhere. cat keeps getting injured!!
As much as we love our cat, Mittens (2 years old), he is a bit accident prone! During the summer (last year) he would go outside for 5 mins and be straight back in with a bee/wasp sting. This unfortunatly cost quite a bit in injections at the vets!! He has ripped two of his back claws out (???), got a nasty bump to the…
