Looking for a specific collar and specific lead

Since I had Zara, I always use one collar on her and now can not find it anywhere.

It looks similar to this one:

ancol-half-choke-black_LRG.jpg

But all the ones I see now have the "clip" on them - Zara's one does not have it, it just goes over her head.

I do nto like the ones with a clip as I have a bad experience of those (clip broke on a dog while ago) so I really want to find one that has no clip on it, one that just pulls over the head.

And I can not find it anywhere.

If anyone sees them somewhere - can you please let me know?

Ah and before anyone has a go at me that is is "half choke" type of collar - I actually like it.. because the silver chain looks pretty on Zara....:D

It is never tight on her, even when she pulls it is a bit loose and 2 fingers can get between the collar and her neck - good she always pulls forward and never worked out that trying to quickly go back she could probably get her head out of it ;)

Thanks a lot

The lead - will take a photo of it when I get a chance and post here. I actually got it from someone on another forum who got a few of them in a pound shop (!!!!) and despite having a few leads at home, this one is my absolute favourite.

It is fabric, same material as the collar on the photo above, the "handle" bit is padded on the inside, it has a little "clip" on the lead (half way on the lead) with a welcro and a ring to put keys in it. Absolute brilliant but and as I said, someone has founf it in a pound shop some time ago (!!!!).

I have a flexi lead which I hate because of the bulky handle but use it in the evenings as can not let Zara off ohe lead when it gets dark, too many foxes around where I live and she sees one and runssssssssssssssssssssssssss after it.

I have a vert short chain lead which is good as again it has a fabric handle which is soft padded inside, long chain lead the same design.

But my favourite is that cheap, £1 lead that I can just put in my pocket or wrap around my waist....

I really do not like leather leads....they hurt muy hands, they get hard in the cold etc.. nahhhh

Anyone knows where can I get one like described above?

Links to items very much appreciated - I have TRIED to search but can not find what I am looking for, they sem to be all "last season" and no longer being made?

Thanks a lot....

Rev, thanks but I already tried googling it and all that come up are the ones with a clip.

That is why I am asking forum users if they have across the specific one I am am looking for and can post a direct link to the item.

The link you posted looks like the one I am looking for (van not see the clip on it - hopefully it is a pull on one) but seems very narrow, Zara's one is much wider.. I think.

    Thanks :D

We got ours from PAH, my two can not wear the clip versions as they snap them right off.
PAH stopped doing them for a while but had them last time I went in.

This is the same as we buy, looks the same as your pic above (but obviosuly the xl version) It is the Pets At home brand and not in with the other leads and collars at my PAH store.

I can confirm there's no clip as I ordered one a few weeks back. Didn't stop my two staffy x's snapping it though lol so got one of the chain ones posted above this week.

I'm pretty sure the ancol ones don't have clips on so try googling those.

Lisawood- that is exactly the one I have right now, do not have a PayPal though (do not want one...grrrr) will have to get someone to order for me, thanks a lot.

Wreck Fisher - the one you posted looks great.. lovely... thanks but really looking for exactly the same one as I have, as described, thanks.

Rev - a staff snapping it is not a good advertisement, is it? Hmmmmmm Zara is 39kg and pulls like a horse..... LOL

    Thanks again everyone.

I bought one exaclty like the collar you are looking for from The Range. It is an Ancol collar and has no clip - simply slips over the dogs head, http://www.ancol.co.uk/show.php?itemid=&groupid=DOCLHNNC&colour=

There is a section "How to buy" on the website and this lists all the stockists in your area if you enter your postcode.

The collar was very good value for money (I think it was about £5) and is good quality.

It's a pets At home collar, so if you can get in there they should have them, they don't seem to have them online however.
Mine are 59 kg and 63kgs each and not snapped one yet.
    Good luck
