Parking Charge Notice and confusion over the new Protect of Freedoms Act
Hi, I recieved a Parking Charge Notice from Parking Eye the other day for the amount of £85 or £50 If I pay within 14 days. I basically went to Pizza Hut and was there for 28 minutes when apparently I was only allowed 10 minutes unless I was a pizza hut customer. The letter quotes from the protection of freedoms act 2012,…

Suggestions for shops to increase buisness
I have read the comments regarding UKPARKINGCONTROL.COM, and because I run a small business, I find it relevant, because it is half the reason why people are not spending/able to purchase what they want. I have several friends whose family members have been very upset with unnecessary pressure from Companies like these. I…

TCP reported to DVLA
I have just sent the following to DVLA: "I have attached a photo of a TCP sign in Sainsburys newish store in Nairn, Highland. The photo was taken on Saturday 24th November. There are 3 main issues with the sign: 1. The height of the sign from the ground makes it impossible to read the small print, breaching BPA guidelines;…

UK Parking Solutions (UKPS)
Today I parked up in an industrial estate. I went for a very short 5 minute walk. When I returned to my car there was a white van parked near it. The 2 chaps came over to me and told me I'd received a ticket (although nothing had been stuck on my car yet)... whilst he was talking to me, he handed me the ticket and his…

Is my employer breaking the law?
My employer uses their own in-house security department to patrol the company private car park, checking for cars parked there but not displaying a company parking permit in the windscreen.
