NO ticket machines, parked half an hour, HELP!!

Hi Readers,
I'm so sorry to bring up Excel Parking again (I note there are a few threads re. this private parking company) but need help please. We parked in the Lincoln PCWorld/Halfords/Currys (Tritton Road) car park earlier today, it is NOT a pay and display park, but has a 2-hour parking limit. On returning to the car after vising my bank, I found a yellow plastic bag from the above mentioned mob, the paperwork inside stating *parked car then left carpark* as being the reason for the ticket. I was so incensed at receiving this, that I just got in and drove away, and did not go to either Halford or PC World which was my plan. On the paperwork, it stated *you were filmed entering at 10:00 the ticket was issued at 10:35...*
I live 15 mile from these stores, and was not in the mood to return to read the parking rules boards that are (should be) visible in every car park, so I phoned Excel and asked could they please read out to me their T&Cs of parking. They started:
Welcome to Tritton Retail Park. Customer Car Park only. Two hours maximum stay, no return within one hour.
I asked whether there was any other important points on the notice, and he asked had I received a ticket, which we discussed, then he said ''the very first statement is what you have been given the ticket for''. I stated the plan was to RETURN and go to the stores I've mentioned, but he wasn't interested.
I've read quite a lot both on MSE and other websites online, but none of the instances have been quite the same as in this case, and am very torn as to whether I should just pay this fine. I phoned one of the stores on the retail park and asked him what were the parking rules, and he said as far as he knew it was parking for 2 hours and always had been. When I told him the reason for the ticket, he laughed - well I would have too, it's so ridiculous!
Please help!!
Thanks

Excel are currently banned from accessing the DVLA Registered Keeper data (for gross misconduct), so if you just ignore it, they won't even be able to find you to send you all the scary letters (which you would have ignored anyway).
So just forget about it all and get on with your life. That should be the end of it.
If you want to complain to the stores then please do, but DO NOT CONTACT EXCEL WHATSOEVER!!Je Suis Cecil.0 -

You have NOT been "fined"! You have recieved an invoice. Do NOT pay them anything. If they, Excel, have not got your details, and they should not be able to, then you won't recieve any thing in the post, such as threats. So, chill out and forget about this incident. Don't take Excel or any private parking company so seriously.Got a ticket from ParkingEye? Seek advice by clicking here: Private Parking forum on MoneySavingExpert.:j0 -
Thanks ManxRed and Edward123 for replying so quickly. When I spoke with Excel, they did NOT get my name, phone number, address OR the time of the notice as I didn't give it to them. Yes, my wording was wrong I meant *this worthless piece of paper stating I left the car park...*:T I'll ignore and wait then...

At least you came here to ask, and haven't given away your details to Excel, so that's a good thing. You know now to ignore them completely, as they have no way of knowing who you are.
If you do get anything in the post from them, then you must come back here, so we can tell you how to land them in the poo.0 -
If you do receive a letter from Excel then come back here and seek advice, as it will haven't that they have circumnavigated their ban, and could get them in to more trouble.0

They are banned from accessing the dvla database along with 5 other companies, please view video 6 on the link below, they are all from the bbc's watchdog programme.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
excel tickets/invoices are FAKE ,simple as that,so worry not, come back for reassurance if you recieve any threat o grams from them, roxburghe/graham white,,all part of the same SCAM.0

Well! Thanks all so much for your help and reassurances
- I've not been sitting idle here, but searching online for anything 'Excel Parking' I can find - and there's PLENTY to read! ALL of it in the same vein as on here, including reference to Roxborough & Graham White. Worry, I won't but will sit it out and wait. Interesting to see whether I DO receive anything before their 3-month ban expires! Watch this space.....

Excel and roxburghe are both banned from the dvla database, graham white are just roxburghe pretending to be solicitors, they have some ancient retired solicitor who sells his name to them, it's quite laughable actually as its so widely known you'd think they would give up on the deceptionExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors.
