As I read the terms of my insurance, my current policy (December 2018-2019) will not cover any deposits that we are paying now, until we renew in December 2019? So if anything was to happen…

TUI package holiday flight time change and implications
Booked a TUI package holiday for October. Just received mail saying time has been changed by 3 hours. As a result, it means that we will now miss dinner as we are going half board (restaurant will be closed when we arrive now). I was previously told that meals are baked into the overall price you pay for a package holiday.…

EasyJet delayed luggage from Gatwick
Hi all My mum and dad were informed after landing at Chania (Crete) Airport today after their flight from Gatwick at 08.00 that their baggage was not loaded onto the same flight owing to technical problems at Gatwick today (which was reported in the news). They're bit quite old and not very technically savvy but we're…

Oil pastels on a plane
I would very much appreciate feedback from anyone who has take oil pastels on a flight. Did you have any problems with them in hold baggage? That's where I'd intended to put them until someone said that they can appear as explosives when x-rayed. (A friend's haggis was identified as explosive when screened, so I haven't…

Childs first passport photo, DIY or professional?
Hi I asked around a few photo services locally, they charge £10 for a child photograph. I don't think this is value for money at all. I noticed that you can apply for a passport digitally, and they accept digital photos. Just curious as to whether I can take the photo myself with a DSLR camera.

Money Moral Dilemma: Should I stay with my friend for free (and risk intruding)?
This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... My friend, who lives abroad, has invited me to stay with her while I'm on holiday. While it would save me a lot of money on my holiday, she doesn't live alone - in fact, she lives with her parents and I'm worried I'll intrude. Should I accept her offer, or find somewhere else…

My Wife has booked a Girls weekend away in Amsterdam in October. Booked in February with Bookings.com. Reviewing the booking.com details looks like cancellation would involve…

TUI Compensation offer
I am currently 6 days into a 7night holiday in Menorca.
