Well, we have booked flights to Paris in July but haven't chosen a hotel as yet so thought i would throw it out to you guys to advise. Would like to book this holiday for myself & 18 yr old daughter. Both more interested in sight seeing than sun bathing. Mixed reviews on review sites seem to feel either brilliant or disgusting. Any advice from real money saving experts ? many thanks

Opodo search
Has anyone else had problems using the Opodo site to search for flights? I've put in my details and several minutes later it is still flashing that it is updating my results. I can't read the results it had come up with as it just keeps jumping back to the top of the screen. I have had this problem with the site before and…

Thomas Cook Airlines charter flight, luggage allowance 15kgs / 20kgs
Hi, I'm confused about the hold luggage allowance if I was to book a Thomas Cook flight. This is for a long haul flight, a travel agent implied that you get 15kg included but you can pay £30 to get 20kg. But having looked for quotes elsewhere, it seems you either get no luggage allowance, or you pay £30 and get 20kg. Can…

Hello, myself and a couple of mates all around 30+ are looking to go away for a long weekend. Have started looking but there are so many options and websites it could take ages to filter…

Will a UK TV set work in France ?
Not sure if this is the right place to post. We are shortly off to France and we want to be able to watch French TV while we are there, but no TV is provided in the holiday home. We are considering purchasing a small flat screen TV with freeview to take with us but no one in Comet or Currys is able to tell us whether a TV…

The "Charter Flight Centre" - any good?
Many of the flight-finding websites ignore charter flights. Martin's guide recommends "Flights Direct" and "Avro" but they don't seem to give as many results as "Charter Flight Centre", who I can't find any reviews of. Any positive/negative experiences to report?

Thomas cook hand luggage
How strict are Thomas Cook with their hand luggage? I am travelling to Florida and they state Your hand baggage must not exceed 5 kg in weight or 43 cm x 28 cm x 23cm in size (including wheels, handles, side pockets etc). The 5kgs is Ok, but my bag is 45cm x 33cm x 19cms. Will it be OK or should I not risk it:confused:
