Because I am supposed to be cleaning the kitchen floor, I thought I would delay it by looking up some quotes from individual travel insurers.

Virgin 74.25 (used them in November for US trip)
    Tesco 75.00
    Post Office 112.00

I used 1 June to 15 June inclusive, because I didn't know your travel dates.

    The floor beckons.

Thanks for looking, i've just found a quote by Columbus £40 for 2 ppl, seems really cheap but what's the minimum cover I ought to be looking at for the important bits that may go wrong?

If you a trip to the U.S planned its often cheaper or a similar price to take an annual multi trip policy which will cover this trip and any other trips in the next year
  • Tia,

If you read Martin's articles on travel insurance (link below) you will be better informed. To be honest, I took out my travel insurance without even knowing what I was covered for. I know, I know. Touch wood, no claims.
