removing hair from vacuum brush
I have long hair which gets tangled in the brush on the vacuum. What is the best way to remove this? I am using scissors to cut it but this is difficult as it is hard to get the scissors at the right angle to get lose enough to the plastic to cut, then the amount of pulling after to remove it is causing the brush to move…

Flour mites - yuck!!
We fancied macaroni cheese for tea so took myself off to make it and my food cupboard was covered in flour mites! My fault for not storing in plastic container, but they literally got everywhere so anything unopened had to be chucked. On the plus side I've been able to take stock of my store cupboard ingredients so I won't…

G & t
My Lady Wife has discovered she likes those cans of ready-mixed Gordon's gin and Schweppes Tonic, but we don't want to keep paying over the odds for a G&T when we're quite capable of making one ourselves - or would be if we knew how much tonic you need to how much gin. Can any G&T drinkers please advise what sort of ratio…

Today I have recieved a parking notice from Premier Park. It says I need to pay a £100 fine - reduced to £60 if I pay within 14 days. The carpark was free but I exceeded the maximum stay period. What do I do? As this is private land do I need to pay the fine? I have been reading a few things and it seems to say they can…
