maybe a silly question, where do you get bones, etc to make home-made broth/stock? I don't have a butcher nearby :( supermarket don't seem to sell bones?

Best mop bucket???
I've used so many cheapies over the years. My current mop bucket has a handle that keeps popping out, and the bit for squeezing out your mop keeps coming off. So time for a good quality mop bucket. Any ideas?

Fix big plastic tub
I have a large plastic tub I use in the back garden to store hay for my guinea pigs. Thanks to my dog crashing into it, it has a large crack all down one side, and just curving under the bottom. (amazing what a Westie can do :mad: ) No bits are missing. Any tips on fixing? Thanks

Hi all DS has just got a lovely new, expensive pair of trainers. Then he went out kicking a ball about in the mud and they are filthy. They seem to have grass stains on them as well as dried in mud. They are running style trainers with grey mesh uppers. What's the best way to clean them? I have never dared to put trainers…

Freeze spring onions???
I've had good success freezing mushrooms, peppers and onions - makes life so handy!!! Got a bit over excited in the reduced section this morning, and bought 5 packs of reduced spring onions, planning to freeze for use in cooking. Just checking to see that other folk have had success with this.
