Monster Cakes
We are havig a Red Nose Day bake off at work on Tuesday and I want to win!! (not that I am competitive or anything...) Now while I am a good baker, I am not so good at making them particularly pretty. I was going to make a dragon cake which I have made before but I am not sure if that is "monstery" enough. Any ideas?

suggestions for meals for friend
Hi all, my friend has just had a baby and I was after some meal ideas to cook for her to make her life a bit easier. Her boyfriend is hindu but will eat chicken and she has gone off curry since being pregnant so can anyone suggest some good wholesome inexpensive meals that will freeze and reheat well?

Tomorrow I plan to make a chocolate cake to take into work on Monday. possibly a silly question but the frosting has milk in it. How long Max between Marzipan and icing?
As the title says, I'm wondering how long I can get away with leaving my marzipaned cakes before I ice them (with sugar paste). I did the marzipan last sunday so they'll be ok to ice now but if I could leave them longer (like another week or 2!!!!) it'd make my life easier!!!

Please recommend me a mincer/meat grinder
I want to get a manual meat grinder No 8 but not sure what will be the most appropriate, I need it for meat mincing and Falafel making. Should I go for the cast iron old style ones or the more modern plastic ones?:idea: Which one is easier to clean?

Goose recipe
Hi My husband has been given some leg and breast meat from a wild goose and is looking for possible recipes and info on best way to cook it.
