My son leant up against the door frame today and got black grease all over his new raincoat. Does anyone know how I can removed this please ?? - have tried neat washing up liquid and this hasnt worked - would be grateful for any other tips!!! - typical with a new coat.

Thank you in advance - hoping I can save his coat - only wore it couple of times as well (:mad:

I know to remove grease from clothing I always put brown paper over the item and then iron it. The grease transfers from the clothes to the paper, not sure if it would work the same with black grease and again not sure because you have already used washing up liquid - perhaps worth a try?

    Good Luck!

Swarfega may work, it's designed to get grease from hands, mechanics use it.

Ah happy memories of my dad using this to clean his hands after a day at the garage.
I couldn't remember the name of it so couldn't make the suggestion :o
