I checked the troubleshooting and it said to check the expiry of the yeast... low and behold it went out of date Oct 2010. :o Didn't…

Storing spare duvets
I was putting some duvets away and the vacuum pack bags that I normally use have mostly split. Just wondering how other OS-ers store spare duvets? Mine were vacuum packed, under bed things. Would like something that lasts a good few years too please.

I want to bake a pie at the weekend but how do you make the pastry ? Is it the same pastry as used in quiches? And do you just glaze it with an egg or something?

The fruit trees are laden and people are giving away bags of grapefruits, limes, lemons etc. Also, tomatoes are about 40p a kilo at the moment. Any suggestions as to what I could do…

please help to break my pepper habit!

I tend to use red/yellow/orange peppers to add bulk to sauces and also put them into wraps for packed lunches. But they are so expensive now but I am not sure what I can replace them with? :( (I do…
Keeping chocolates?
I have a box of chocolates that was opened yesterday. There are lots of chocolates left. The box lid was torn when they were opened so I can't just leave them in the box. I'm wondering how/where to store them now? I don't want to throw them away. Any ideas?

Free part cooked pie but I don't know how long to re-heat
Can anyone help me? My dad gave me a sausage meat & veg pie yesterday (not sure exactly what is in it), that he said he part cooked for 45 mins. I am very grateful as our money situation is not good at the moment. However, i haven't a clue how to long to re-heat it or even finish cooking it as he said it's only part…
