Keeping chocolates?

I have a box of chocolates that was opened yesterday. There are lots of chocolates left. The box lid was torn when they were opened so I can't just leave them in the box. I'm wondering how/where to store them now? I don't want to throw them away. Any ideas?

I'd put them either in a plastic food box or a food bag in the kitchen cupboard, I'm sure they will be fine.0

Wasnt sure if they needed to go in the fridge now that the box is open, but it's cold enough in my pantry! Thanks Linda321, will put them in a tupperware box. I imagine they'll be gone within a couple of days anyway!0

Yes, I think jackie is right, I would use it as an excuse along the lines of "oh well, they'll go off now the box is open, so to save putting them in the bin I will eat them". Convinces me ok but never DH

After Christmas I get all the left over choccies from the big tins that my two DDs buy and the kids don't like .I'm not so fussy, as apart from dark choclate which I cannot eat as for some reason it makes me hurl, I will eat almost anything.I put them all in a plastic bag and store in the salad drawer at the bottom of my fridge .Very nice on a frosty afternoon in January to have a hot coffee and a couple of choclates whilst reading my book by the fire. The Terrys chocolate oranges that I wrapped yesterday in different presents for Christmas are all out in the conservatory which is fairly cold to say the least so they stand no chance of melting between now and Christmas.0

Keeping chocolate? Not quite sure it's possible - think it just jumps into your mouth doesn't it?
Seriously, a plastic tub, I keep all the tubs from the vast amount of icecream my OH gets through and use them for allsorts of leftovers - would keep them somewhere cool but not the fridge though as lots of chocs with yummy middles are designed to be eaten at room temp or they are not oozey enough.0 -
