Scary, isn't it?
This week I've got (starting from tonight as I've had to change my plan as the mushrooms which were meant to be in my veg box aren't ):
Thursday - pasta with green veg, bacon and pesto
Friday - courgette, bacon and cheese calzone
Saturday - lamb and squash curry with HM chappatis (which I've never made before, but they don't look complicated)
Sunday - tuna pasta bake
Monday - lamb hotpot
Tuesday - chicken kiev with root veg mash and baked beans (if the snow melts so I can get to the butcher to buy a kiev, anyway. If I can't, I'll have to think of something else.)
Wednesday - creamy root veg gratin
Thursday - jambalaya
What treats has everyone else got this week, then?Back after a very long break!0 -
Couldn't agree more. 2010 seems to have absolutely flown by. Ah well, more new starts in the new year.
Here's my mealplan for the week from Monday:
Mon: Shepherd's Pie with veg
Tues: Toad in the Hole with beans
Weds: Not Sure Yet, poss. random stirfry
Thurs: Beef Stroganoff with Wild Rice
Fri: Sausage & stuffing pasties with HM wedges
Sat: HM Prawn Toasts, Spare Ribs & Special Fried Rice for a fakeout Chinese meal
Sun: Lasagne. I'm making 6 portions so there'll be some to freeze.
Lunches are sandwiches or leftovers, and there are flapjacks and seasonal mince pies for puds to have with a scoop of ice cream as a treat. We've got fruit and some creamed rice pots too. No more baking planned, but there'll be some batch assembly and cooking towards the end of the week to make some ready meals to freeze so Christmas week isn't stressful! Hope everyone has a good week.

Last week went to he11 in a hand cart with the weather. As we live in walking distance to work and there was lots of snow here in Leeds so lots of people unable to get into work which meant 12 hour shifts for me and OH. I also had my boss stay overnight with us as she couldn't get home.
So next week!
Sat L - Misc OH going to the football (he says it WILL go ahead, evidently snow doesn't effect Leeds UTD like other clubs!)
