£5 a day challenge for our food shop can we do it
we have to do it right. :( some of the men in hubbys work were laid off before christmas. theres four of us and we got to plan ahead. got cereals and some bits in the cuboard and freezer but I got to buy more to last us. send us good luck vibes and if you can give us ideas it would be good.

On sky at the moment there is a programme about worlds worst wife - one doesnt do housework - what a tip and the next one spends money like there is no tomorrow - keeps 35 bin bags of clothing in the loft !!! Think we should recommend them to look at this site!!!!

Dried peas - whats the bag for?
I have a bag of leos dried peas but the box got wet so I threw it away. There's a bicarb tablet which is obviously for soaking the peas in, but what's the net bag for?! Do the peas go in this?

How can I brighten up these wine glasses?
I have a set of rather nice Casa Pupo engraved wine glasses which are sadly looking rather yellow with age. I've never put them in the dishwasher and wonder if there's anything I can do to restore the orginal sparkling crystal type appearance they originally had. They're too good to throw away.

Spent £63.56 on weekly food shopping

Has anyone got a banana and apple muffin recipe?
I would like to use up some bananas and apples (2 eating 1 cooking) and make some muffins and I know I have seen loads of good recipes but can't find one with both things!
