How can I remove olive oil stains from a wooden work surface?

I " oil" my wooden worktops to keep them in good condition and my wooden chopping boards so I would add more olive oiland work it into the wood reallywell rather than try and remove itTry and do a good deed every day.0

Popped in to say exactly that, just even the finish by adding more oil your worksurface will be all the better for the tlc.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

You could try sprinkling a little warmed flour onto the area and leave it overnight or alternatively put a clean linen teatowel over it and rest a hot water bottle on it. The heat would probably help the teatowel absorb some of the oil.0
