Steam mop

Hi!
Hoping someone can help. I bought a steam mop (CY-102) slim red one and think I am not using it properly. It is easy to fill, but is supposed to dry the floor as it goes.
The instrucutions say to slowly pass over the area to be cleaned/to sanitize an area of your floor, leave the steam mop over area for a min of 5 secs, max 15 secs.
So 2 lots of insturcutions there. also - do i move the mop when the light is green and not move it when the light is red? at this rate I will be cleaning the floor forever!
