Just like to know how to freeze a glut of parsley.
Do you chop it up first or just put whole bunch in a bag with stalks and all?
Thanx

Hi jinnywren,
I chop it first and freeze in a freezer bag, then can lift out just the amount I need to use. I know some people freeze it in ice cubes with water but I find it's less fiddly to just keep it in the bag.
This thread has more advice on freezing herbs that may help:
Freezing and preserving herbs
I'll add this thread to that one later to keep the replies together.

I just bung it in the freezer as it is then break a bit off when I want to use it. I do this with all herbs and they're fine. I just chop them while they're frozen.0
