Modroc - How Do I Remove It?
Modroc - no, not the Paul Weller kind - is some sort of craft substance. However, it doesn't seem to like coming out of DD2's 2 week old school jumper  and I am left with something that feels like dark glue sticking bits together. I have tried - biological gel stardrops washing up liquid but no joy. All the school…

Hi A lovely lady from freecycle has just given me a barely used Tefal Steam Cuisine :) I have been tempted by them in the past but have always resisted because I wasn't sure how much I would use it so I am really pleased I have one now to sit along side my slow cooker. I am sure that some of you on here must use one, and I…

Roasting tin I can use on the hob.
Last year I bought a very good roasting tin and rack (prestige). It has a non-stick coating. It is fine for the oven but when using on the hob, to make gravy, the non stick has now started to come off. Can anyone recommend a tin for both uses.

Does Baileys really go off?
Last year's bottle was opened, saw a little action and then went back into the cupboard for the rest of the year. If it doesn't actually smell rancid would it be OK to drink neat? Or in coffee? Failing that, would you risk making truffles with it?

Fan oven timings
I've just put my Christmas cake in the oven (bit late, I know!) and realise that I'm using a fan oven with a convection oven recipe. I've found a conversion chart for temperatures and turned it down to 120 but I have an idea that it will take less than the 4 1/2 hours in the recipe. Apologies for seeming scatty; I'm fine…
