Liver Sausage - the sort that can be cooked
We used to get liver sausage which could be fried or grilled for breakfast. You could also eat it cold in sandwiches etc. It comes as a large sausage a bit like black pudding and is sliced or sold in pieces. I used to buy it at the Deli counter in Co-op, and Somerfield until they closed them. It also used to be available…

Piece of pork shoulder - how to convert cooking times?
Hello, I am hoping someone can help... I have a piece of pork shoulder that weighs 470g. I want to slow roast it so it can be pulled apart with a fork, and I want nice crackling - like on the Jamie Oliver programme that was on during the week. This joint is of course much smaller than a whole shoulder and, not being at all…

Something to keep the little ones busy
Saw this Anchor site this morning...don't think it's been on here before. It has lots of little projects for the kids to do in OS, at no or very little cost. Especially good if you have to hibernate in this cold weather. http://www.thefreerangebutter.co.uk/thingsToDo/feb2008/
