cleaning yellow stains from glass lamp shade
I just bought a very wonderful 1950s ceiling lamp. The glass shades are made of 2 layers of glass, one white one frosted. On the outside of the glass, there are yellow stains. I have tried cleaning them with baking soda but it hasnt worked. Any other suggestions?

What do you use to line cake tins
I do mine with greaseproof paper and I hate it, especially when you get near the end of the roll and it's all curly. here in Spain i haven't seen anything other than greaseproof paper, but OH is visiting England in a couple of weeks, so he can get me something more up to date What do you recommend.

what size is my bread tin
Being new to bread making, how do I tell what size loaf will fit in my bread tin eg 1lb or 1.5kg etc. One or tins is 8cm x 29cm x 7cm deep, the other is 9cm x 20cm x 8cm deep. Neither is the same size as the bread pan in the breadmaker

Did anyone see the Tonight programme Monday night end of cheap food? That family went from £150 a week shopping bill to £50 using a rubber shoulder of lamb.
