Hi, I wonder if you lovelies could help me. I have volunteered to make a favourite recipe book as a fundraiser for my daughters playgroup. The recipes from the other parents haven't been rushing so was wondering if you could give me some of your favourites! Thanks:p

I bought my gf a dodo book for cooks and I have put some of my fav recipes in it. (I cook more than she does)
This has to be my most lovelly recipe.
First you need silicone muffin moulds and cut up into indervidual moulds. It makes getting the pudding out easier later on.Chocolate puddle puddingsserves 6
150g dark chocolate (70%min coco solids)
125g Butter
4 Eggs
2 egg yolks
130g caster sugar
60g soft plain flour
10g coco powder.
Butter to grease the moulds.
Melt the chocolate and butter over a pan of hot water. Remove from the heat and gradually whisk in the eggs and egg yolks one at a time.
Fold in the sugar, flour and coco.
Rest the mixture in the fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours!
(I find it easier to put the mixture in the moulds before putting them in the fridge)
Fill the moulds about 3/4 full.
Pre-heat the oven to 180c
Cook for about 10 mins. The puddings should rise slightly and the surface breaks slightly.
The puddings should be spoung on the outside and liquid chocolate.
Remove from the oven and turn out onto plates and serve with good quality vanilla ice cream.
Having done these a few times I find that the difference between being perfect and the centers being totally cooked and not liquid is very small so you have to keep an eye on them.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
This is a nice one that I remember doing with my grandma years ago.
115g SR flour
115g Marg
85g sugar
one tea cup of rolled oats
1 teaspoon of golden syrup
3 teaspoons of boiling water
vanilla essences
Cream together the marg and sugar.
Add the syrup, boiling water and vanilla essences.
Stir in the flour and oats and mix well.
Roll into balls.
Place onto a greased baking sheet or greasproof paper, push the middle slightly to flatten the biscuit out slightly and place into a oven for 15-20 mins at about 180c.
When cold you can decorate the biscuits with icing. (The really fun part for the kids)JeremyMarried 9th May 20090
