Anyone that uses cat litter?

Hi Guys

This is going to seem a little extreme and probably isn't for the weak stomached....

Firstly does anyone use tesco cat litter and can they tell me which one is 100% natural clay, if you have any - i would appreciate you checking the bag :)

ok - so I spend £1 a time on clay mask sachets, but I read online, that they're basically just natural clay with fragrance... and that you can make your own out of

GET THIS

cat litter! :O - obviously unused (before we get the wise guys in) lol

mix to a paste with a little water and slap on before rinsing with warm water....

anyone fancy trying this? :)

P.S. Asked specifically for tesco as I'd like clubcard points on it and having it delivered with the weekly shop would be good hehe:o

    Hi Sara,

I'm not sure whether the clay used in cat litter is refined enough for cosmetic use - I would try to source a big bag of fine kaolin clay powder from natural cosmetics companies - should cost between 5 and 15 pounds for 500g to 1kg (something like this http://www.essentialoilsonline.co.uk/acatalog/Raw_Materials.html but that's just to give you the idea).

This is wonderful stuff - just add some warm water and a drop or two of essential oil to a tablespoon of powder and it makes a lovely facemask.

    Hope this helps.
