I've just taken a BLACK top from the washing machine & it's covered in fluff of various colours! I was really hoping to wear it tomorrow. honey in bread
would substituting honey for sugar in bread make any difference.... I was thinking that sugar is flown halfway way around the world and processed so much would honey be a better alternative.?????

Herb vinegar-uses?
If I made some herb vinegar,what can it be used for? Also,which herbs are most versatile?I currently have fresh rosemary ,and parsley,frozen bay thyme and mint.I read the warnings about botulism in herb oils so am giving that a miss.

rubber on sofa covers
in my glorious nesting instinct i decided to strip teh sofa covers and wash them. unfortunatley despite us having a bigger than average washing machine and there being plenty of space in tehre when they were all in, tehy still managed to come out with washine machine rubber on them!! please help how can iget this off?

how do i wash merino wool cardigans?
Morning all, Hope everyone is Ok today. I've got a couple of merino wool cardigans which need washing for the first time. The label says dry clean only, but i'd like to handwash them if possible. getting egg off carpet - help needed
I have managed to drop a raw egg on one of the carpet tiles in my kitchen - I've cleaned it up as best I can by jsut mopping it with kitchen towel - is there anything I can do do be sure to get it all up - I cant use warm water cos I think that will cook it!

Is this Mince safe?
I bought it yesterday from Iceland, it's sell use by date is the 29 april 08. It looked fine until i turned it into a pan and it was a bit brown in a few places with a smell, not horrid off smell but just a teeny bit. Is it safe to use? Hurry up please it's cooking now :D
