paper dancing girls

Remember them? You draw half a girl on folded paper, cut them out and then you get a row of them holding hands. I've been telling my 4 year old dd all about them, and we've been trying to make them.... several times.:o None of them are holding hands and my daughter is losing faith in me, can anyone point me in the right direction please.

When you do the drawing you need to make sure that a hand and a foot are against the fold. Then cut round the rest making sure that they are still attached at the fold. When you unfold the paper they should then be holding hands and touching feet.

Just reread your original post you need to draw a full girl not a half.

It's all in the folding You need to fold the paper like a concertina, not over and over.
