Cleaning canvas pictures
I have a set of three large prints that live in my kitchen. Over time, they have yelloed slightly. Any ideas how to approach this? :confused: *tempted to get bleach out*

What is whiting?
During my great declutter this week, I found a lovely Readers Digest book 'Hints and Tips from the past.' Lots of recipes for cleaning sprays/mixes etc but several of them mention whiting which I've not heard of before. Does anyone use it?

anyone know have a recipe for this. we sometimes buy a few slices as a treat as it's dear and we have raw gammons in the freezer and have just come up with the brainwave:rolleyes: that it would be good to try and cook a homemade equivalent. anyone know how to do it?

cake recipe for a novelty tin

Scratched silver photo frame
Disaster! I have a lovely silver photo frame and moved it today while I was cleaning, it got stacked behind another frame and the little screws at the back of the other frame have made light scratches in the silver :( Is there any way I can smooth them over? Even to make it a bit less noticeable? Polishing hasn't helped.

I've got a tin of hotdogs and I only need a couple, they're not the sort of food that'll get used up so can I freeze them? If so would it be better with or without the brine? Thanks.
