Scratched silver photo frame

Disaster! I have a lovely silver photo frame and moved it today while I was cleaning, it got stacked behind another frame and the little screws at the back of the other frame have made light scratches in the silver 
Is there any way I can smooth them over? Even to make it a bit less noticeable? Polishing hasn't helped.
