Ready made beef stock

obvious cookery tip
If you cook from scratch you should always weigh the ingredients. This is important to get a balanced recipe, but on a larger scale in a hotel, resteraunt or big family,it is proven you can make massive financial savings by weighing instead of guessing weights of ingredients.

Recipes with pumpkin??
Just bought a pumpkin for a halloween carving with my son, and thought i'd make a pumpkin pie with the flesh, however the recepies i have found are all using tinned pumpkin. Does anyone have an idea about what to do with fresh, or anything else to make with it? Never cooked it before, but it seems a shame to waste it.
