recipe for "nice " biscuits?

Hi, does anyone have a recipe for "nice" biscuits- ie the ones with sugar on the top that taste a bit of coconut. I realise they are cheap to buy, but trying to cook as much from scratch to avoid unnecessary ingredients- preservatives etc

The big debate is do you call them 'nice' or 'neece', I've always called them 'neece' because my mum did. Anyone know which is correct?0
