Using up store cupboard - suggestions welcome
I've been a little lax with my store cupboard recently - I keep an inventory on the cupboard door but have been walking around with my eyes shut as I now have the following items which all expire this month and I don't know what to use them for. The arborio rice I assume would do a risotto, not done one before so an easy…

Removing spray adhesive from window
Does anyone have any tips for removing spray glue off a window? I put some of that on a roll frosty looking stuff up. It said it was static, but it kept falling down, so I put the spray glue on the window and stuck it that way. Its been up a couple of years (2) and I have now got the sticky backed one that has glue on it…

Fungus on blackberries & sloes?
We've been out for a walk today in sunny Blackpool, and have seen loads of blackberries & some sloes (great to make sloe gin with). However, virtually all of them are covered in fungus..... a) Has anybody else noticed this in other parts of the country? b) I guess we shouldn't eat them?

Quick help- overcooked jam
Help! I think I've overcooked my blackberry jam. I wasn't getting a crinkle top so I reboiled it and tested it several times like Delia tells you to do. I've just done a test and its really firm, beyond crinkle and has a caramel taste to it! What can I do!

Chicken and Pate?
I have a chicken breast and a tub of pate that need using up. Do you think if I stuffed the chicken with the pate it would taste ok? If so how long should I cook it for? Would 40 mins be about right or is that way too long for a chicken breast? Thanks :)

Have you adopted battery hens?
:D I'm thinking about adopting two battery hens. I would expect to get 10 eggs a week after they are returned to health. I know nothing about hens except that I like them. Any information will be gratefully received.

Great Bread!
We have a South American lunchtime take out spot up the road from us called El Vergel (http://www.elvergel.co.uk/) which serves the best sandwiches in the area. :D :D :D They use a bread which they describe as 'Village Bread' which is particularly light and delicious. I managed to get the recipe from them. It's actually…

slightly obscure question but is there anyway I can get the purple plum juice stains out of my wooden chopping board? I unthinkingly chopped up some plums on the wooden board (to stew) and now it is stained a very lurid purple.
