Please Help - Old Recipe

Mum has given me an old recipe of hers for Luscious Lemon cake however there are a few problems in the fact this recipe uses measurements that are not on my scales and I don't know how to convert them.

What is the electric equivalent to Gas Mark 4?

Also can someone work out the following in grammes for me please?

4 oz Margarine
6 oz Caster Sugar
6 oz Self Raising Flour

Thanks

The amount of 4 ounces is equal to 113.3144 grammes
The amount of 6 ounces is equal to 169.9717 grammes

As long as you stick with 50% more sugar and flour to Marg should be fine, so you could do 100g marg with 150g of sugar and flour. Oh and wouldn't bother with caster sugar unless you already have it. Many work on 25g=1oz to make conversions easier.

Mum has made it loads and it is so tasty, I hope I can do it justice.

    4oz soft margarine
    6oz caster sugar
    6oz self raising flour
    4 tablespoons of milk
    2 large eggs
Finely grated rind of 1 lemon

    SYRUP
3 rounded tablespoons of icing sugar
3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

Grease and line a 2lb loaf tin.

Set over to gas mark 4

Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs, sifted flour, finely grated lemon rind and milk. Mix well.

Pour in tin spreading evenly and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.

Mix icing sugar and lemon together. Pour over cake mixture straight as it comes out of the oven.

    Leave to cool.
