Removing spray adhesive from window

Does anyone have any tips for removing spray glue off a window?
I put some of that on a roll frosty looking stuff up. It said it was static, but it kept falling down, so I put the spray glue on the window and stuck it that way.
Its been up a couple of years (2) and I have now got the sticky backed one that has glue on it already, but I need to get the ugly old glue off first before the new lot goes up.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks as always
LL

You can get 'sticky stuff remover' and 'goo gone' from Wilkinsons, some Pound shops and Kleeneze (I think). It's great stuff for getting adhesive off, although it is a bit greasy so you'll need to wash the window well after.0

When you say 'spray glue', do you mean '3M Spray Mount' (comes in a blue aerosol can)?
Anyways, you're gonna need something like white spirit. Or sometimes 'Orange Glo' works well on sticky/glue type residues, might be worth giving that a try if you have some - it smells alot nicer than white spirit!0 -

Hello
I agree with imho, wd40 is great at getting rid of sticky things, use it often when the kids have stuck their stickers everywhere. Spray it on and just keep wiping really.0
